Help Setting Up Dolphin Melee plss. Vol. Controller Issues

Hello all this is my first post here.

I used to play a lot of melee and I was pretty good at one point but I haven't played in years. I'm trying to get back into Smash and I got Dolphin to play on PC recently.

However, I can't get the controller to work properly. I spent hours googling how to fix it and I haven't found any settings that work properly.

My controller as it is leads to nothing but smash attacks and it's really hard to do normal light attacks. Basically my stick sensitivity is too high. I tried lowering sensitivity in a number of ways like decreasing range or increasing deadzone but then I'm left unable to maneuver properly. Like I wont be able to angled jump, not able to run fast, etc..

I have both an Afterglow wired 360 controller and a Logitech F310 Gamepad. I wasn't able to get either of them to work properly.

I apologize if this doesn't go here or if this is a noob question but I just want to be able to play and I'm left with little option as Google has failed me. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help

Try radius on both sticks to 100, dead zone of 5 on main stick 15 on c stick in dolphins GCPad settings.
