help on pillaring kinda noob question so dont get mad

how do u keep moving forward while you short hop pillar i see people on vids do it but i just cant move as far as thm i can do it if i jump high but not wen im short hopin any advice?

Yes, just smash the control in the direction you wanna go, that immeidately short hop. or jusy sh, then move in the direction.

i would dash first and then jump. that'll send you flying across the map. and keep holding the analog to the left [or right] as your jumping and pillaring. are you using the c-stick to do dair? if not do that

and don't worry if you ask a n00b question. for the most part ppl here are nice; i dont encounter mean posters unless its in the ssb64 discussion section. there are some annnoying people in there

when you wavedash out of the shine just keep wavedashing to follow di?? is your question concerning how to continue a pillar on a human player that di's? or how to acttually pillar?..

just hold forward on the control stick and then use your c-stick to dair.

Move toward the person in the animation of your dair, then shine, repeat. It's really just pointing the control stick.

Jab works here too if your timing is amazing, as well as dodging the grab with a spotdodge.

To (shield) pillar correctly, just hold towards them as you jump (as stated above)

Shine to Short hop Nairs, destroys shield and is really hard to shield grab.
