Help on Event 14

"Sproutage of the Flower Pikmin"
I don't understand what to do.
It seems impossible to keep 6 of those flowers alive at one time, simply running into one almost makes it die.

I'm sure I'm missing something.

Bwuh?
Um, you have to make your Pikmen flower, not the stage. Just run away from the enemies until your Pikmen have flower heads.
