Help needed!

Hi, I'm SUPER hyped for the ridley mod I found for project m 3.6, but when I try to use 3.6 by launching it from the smash bros game, all it does is revert to the home screen. The launcher appears, and it says play, but it goes black and goes to the wii menu. This leads me to 2 questions.
1. Any ideas on how to fix this? the only computer I have that can read an SD card is a chromebook, but I have a flash drive that I can use to transfer files if needed.
2. Is it possible to use the homebrew version to get the ridley mod? I know it lacks the files, but surely there is some way to do it.

Yes, however its only the Homebrew version that works. I formatted my sd card so I have to redo my work. I forgot about the deletion of files.
