Help @ N64 controller / third party

Probably this has been discussed before but didnt find any thread.

So one of our controllers broke and we want to buy a new one. But we thought about searching for some third party controller, to get a better one than the original (stick never was that good)

Not long ago some guy talked about the hori minipad, that looks similar to a gamecube controller, but for the N64.

i also know about a third party controller that has a tight more precise stick but it breaks so easily.

Anyone has / knows about the best third party controller out there?

hori mini pads are great, but the z button isnt on the bottom =[

The problem isnt the z-button, its the price lol $59 - $38 :/

Also it says its japanese version... is there a compatibility problem with the european/japanese/american consoles?

I believe there is no compatibility problem, I think Malva had a friend who had one of these and it worked fine.

However, I think it won't work with USB adapters.

Yeah I'm not 100% sure but I read somewhere that someone had problems getting it to work with a USB adapter.

Don't take my word for it though...

i bet the adaptoid could handle the hori mini pad adaptoid is KING btw there's one on ebay $80 BID NOW
