Okay, I don't know if this is the right section to post this in, but I've had my Wii since 2009, and today, on the day of the 100th Indy 500, when I was supposed to be happy, it quit reading SD Cards. I haven't tried a different one, because I'd have to wait a while, since they don't sell 2GB ones in stores these days, only online, and the only reason anyone would want one is for Brawl. Strange thing is, my 2012 laptop quit reading it today as well, but my newer laptop has absolutely no problems with it. I formatted it (FAT32, no Quick Format) at least three times, and factory resetted my Wii (but no update yet, I'm not sure if that's going to help), but still no results. My theory is that I may have either shoved the card in the socket too hard, and broke a microscopic piece of the socket, or I put it in, took it out at the wrong time, and it caused the Wii's SD Card reader to stop working. The last time it worked was this morning, and it was out, and it acted like I first inserted the card in, the SD icon blinking blue and sounding. Does anyone have any ideas?
Update: I think it runs a slight possibility of being an SD Card problem. Because two of my devices seemingly quit reading SD Cards within an hour of each other, and my old SanDisk 2GB SD Cars is the only one I have. Should I buy a new 2GB SD Card online? Is that often the case, SD Cards getting old and working on some devices but not all? Because my new laptop is newer and rund Windows 10, and it might have the technology to run SD Cards that are going bad than the Wii or my older laptop.
