Help! My Wii keeps freezing

so ever since i updated my homebrew channel my wii keeps freezing whenever i start to use hacks. i choose my character then when i go to the stage selections then it freezes. do u know why?

your problem may be because of a messed up disk drive in your Wii, which hinders the system from reading the disk successfully. (ex; when it loads the match, transformations such as Shiek > Zelda) Post the error code I can confirm whether I'm correct or not.

um i got a similar prob.
however im pretty sure ur prob is the hacks. they mess stuff lol. as stated above, when a match loads, trans occurs, or something like this a wii that has been messed with freezes (well it seems like it)

hacks will be hacks and ur bound too hav problems.
did u check to see if the codes were entered correctly :O

Well Giga, try going through the menus slower. If that doesn't help, then try running the new Brawl+ updater (I had the same problem earlier today when trying to play in a FFA so I feel your pain bro xD)

Run HackMii, uninstall the Homebrew Channel. Then Install it again. That worked for me.

Remove st_exploit.bin from the private/wii/APP/RSBE/st folder. If you're running Brawl+ through Gecko, you don't need it. S'only useful if you have an unmodded wii, which clearly you don't. Also it lets you keep using the stage editor.
