I only watched the 2nd one.
Tell your friend to try to get more grabs. i.e. Dash dance>grab, nair>grab, etc...
It's almost always uthrow on marth. Combo it into uairs.
He needs to work on spacing. He needs to learn to fight marth's range by using proper spacing. Also, he's too aggressive with the bairs from the ledge. Shines usually work there, are safer, and more effective.
Overall, he just needs to play a lot faster, and work a ton more DD into is game, that should get him pointed in the right direction.
