so in the past week i started my shine combo frenzy. yeup i can do it now after a month and a half of laughing at how dumb i look when i mess up, i can shine combo. but now i feel myself using Dair to shine more. maybe too much. but i always play a pressuring marth. how should i be going about ****** him?

p.s. i love dair - shine - dair - uptilt comboing. i feel like a badass with a pigeon as my puppet.

the only time i really get grabbed is out of a roll because of marths freaking sword that stuns the **** out of me so i cant tech.

its annoying. but when i shl - wd - shine - shine combo i feel like he can go ahead and have that ever so stunning sword because i have the most amazing combo. =]

his grab range is annoying though. its like young link status.

just don't be like me and be predictable on how you're going to use shine combos.

Shine combos are pretty cool when you first learn them, you can't stop using them because you think that those combos are "too good". Actualy when you play good people and when they start smashing DI out of the shine you wont think the same, the point is you should keep in mind your other options as falco, for example dair>jab>uptilt (into jump shine jump cancel>bair) and many others like dtilt or even a grab, mixing your attacks and combos is a part from being unpredictable and also a part of the key for victory

thanks for the help!

i have a question when you full jump dair then ff do you have to lcancel or is it so high up it doesnt matter? cuz i find myself l canceling it all the time just in case. is it a waste ot time?

When you first hit your opponent with dair>shine at 0% you'll need to full jump dair> fast fall> l-cancel > shine and repeat or either press X+X very quick so you get the same height(a little more higher though) and dair >fast fall > L-cancel>shine and repeat, but when your opponent is at higher percentages(I mean like 40%~50%) you wont need to L-cancel just fast fall as soon as you hit him, try it out but is always nice to L-cancel even if you don't need to, just to get in the habit of doing it is good

great thanks a lot oskurito.. i was destroying my friend today

shine combos really are too good, but i tried to do it in moderation today in certain situations. it turned out to be more useful and made it that much more fun to see my friend yell in frustration as his limp body is tossed around by a pigeon with a gun. =]

*when the combo is over and the victim is just lying on the ground how do i go about mindgaming him to attacking to get up so i can start my rampage again?

If you're foe is at higher percentages you can try tech punishing with laser and F-smash or Dtilt or Dthrow and tech punish again with SHL to rack up some damage(that you probably need to be sure that he wont survive). If it's a finisher that you're looking for, for the combo of dair>shine>dair>shine/dair>uptilt>dair>shine etc. It will be Jab>D-smash if they're close to the ground because F-smash is kind of slow so maybe he/she can react with a sex kick/airdodge, and Jab>F-smash If you feel like he/she wont do anything

lol it took me a minute to understand.. so when i'm nearing the end of my combo and i dair instead of uptilt or shine again i just jab and dsmash? wow! you just made me have a breakthrough..instead of just dair>shine>dair>uptilt>dair to shine again i can just replace the shine with a jab and grab? and continue the chaos that is falcos combos?

I doubt you want to grab him if he's at 80~90% >_> Just jab>D-smash or Jab>F-smash

Also, FYI...

Remember that when you're opponent is on the ground, hitting him with a laser will force him to stand... If he likes to just lay around, SHL and f-smash him as he stands.

platforms tricks are cool and useful check out some good players vids like Forward, a cool trick could be instant ledgehop(you drop off the edge and jump, note that you must do it very quickly so you get the highest reach of your jump) then waveland into the platform, this trick is for Yoshy story only (the small one).

wow so now i can pillar. like in a tight situtation too. its weird it just kinda came to me. its so simple now. i broke my friends shield today, mostly because he didn't think i could do it and was just waiting for me to mess up, **** i didn't expect it either. =]

if anybody has anymore advice for me that would be awesome. i should probably get vids up so it'll be faster and easier to further advance my skills huh?
