On ssb4 for Wii U I experience some lag on For Glory. Mainly input lag. I normally use the game pad and some times game cube controllers It has happened 20 times lowering my W/L from 75% to 50%. I don't know how to fix this, can someone please help? Its not my internet, I get 22 ping on some ping test sites. I main Ike, Metaknight, and sometimes I use Pacman, Megaman, and Lil Mac. Is it Nintendo servers? Someone please help I have lost so many times because of this delay that randomly occurs. The only cure for this I have found is link and projectile spam. Its hard to perfect shield it due the input lag please help.
Edit: I also main pit

There's going to be input lag no matter how good your internet is. In a game where every frame counts, online won't be good enough to keep up. Both players would need ridiculously good internet and would need to be really close to the servers in order for the online to keep up with this game. As of right now, it doesn't and there's not a whole lot you can do.

Input lag happens often because this version of Smash aggressively pairs people across the world. I won't even bother playing randoms online until one of the following happens:

1. Nintendo implements regional matches, a la Mario Kart 8
2. They find a way to increase the speed of light around the globe.
