I just started playing Falco and I feel I've got a good sense on what I'm doing with him. His combos are really fun the only thing I don't do enough of is wavedashing but I'm not sure if it is that important. Anyway, my friend plays pretty much only DK and I find that match up really hard when it should be easy. He just shield grabs me a lot when I shhfl and I feel like whenever I go for aerials the range on his aerials just hits me first and I'm not quite sure what I should be doing.

get behind his shield when pressuring, cant get shield grabbed, make sure that you shoot plenty of lasers, keep your distance unless you have momentum
