help against fox spamming lasers

ok so my friend has this fox who he spams lasers with and i dont like the damage, so say on final destination if hes on one side and i'm on the other, whats a good way that i can get all the way to him without a single laser hitting me and then once i reach him be able to do like a dtilt or something. Does pikachu have any abilities that allow him to avoid lasers and dtilt at the same time while moving foreward? please help

You can always try rolling toward fox with good enough timing.

Yeah, that is almost like a clue for us to say crawl. Contrary to that though, I would full hop thunderbolt (or whatever neutral B is called). It lets you avoid the laser, and land when he either gets hit by the bolt, dodges it, shields it, or more likely, reflects it. Then you can hit him with fair (much better than dtilt), or preferably try to grab him to get a chaingrab.

ya. Crawl is how you deal with that. then once you get close dash into a chaingrab. Fox has got to be the easiest character for pika to chaingrab. Look in the pika chaingrabbing guide for details. but a D-throw chain grab could send your opponent's fox to about 100 before he gets out if done correctly (and they don't no that fox can escape at about 54% with shine, which he probably doesn't know if he doesn't check forums and just spams), then just end with a down or up smash to finish. It's easier than you think, just learn to time it well and practice for about 30 min-1 hour on a low level, then high level computer. You should be set after that.

these are all good ways to avoid the lasers. good quality posts here. just to throw another method of getting closer is the QAC. if u master it then it gets you from one end of FD to the other in like no time. plus you are only on the stage at a max of like four times if you do it correctly and it only for a split second. you will ony get a few hits from the laser. it all works though. pika owns fox! yeah!

NOTE: if you are playing a fox who knows how to DI correctly then they can escape the dthrow at around 75-80%. i didn't know that they could escape by shining though. good thing to know.
