Hello!!

Hey everyone! I'm Zëta (or just Zeta...the umlaut ë is all for fun). I've sort of been dragged into Smash by my roommates irl and would like to get better at it, play with and meet new people and just have a good time doing it and getting better. So I'm somewhere in between casual and competitive...more midcore if that makes sense?

Anyways let's see...those questions in that one thread might help out here

• Who do you main in your Smash game(s) of choice? Why?

Primarily Corrin at the moment is WiiU/3DS because I really enjoy her playstyle (except I think her counter is kinda OP...) Plus I'm *really* excited for Fates in a few weeks. Before that though, I loved playing Peach and Jigglypuff...but no real reason there.

• Why have you joined Smashboards? How did you hear about the site?

I'm looking to meet new people to Smash with really. Google works wonders yaknow. ;P

• Do you attend tournaments? Do you want to?

I attended my first tournament a few days ago.

I got rekt in the first round, but it was still a lot of fun and I'd love to do more.

• Talk about your interests outside of Smash Bros.! Anime, sports, other games, etc.

I'm into anime but I never seem to make time to sit down and watch it. I mostly enjoy the music of it since I'm getting a music degree. I'm also an FFXIV player doing some light raiding since the game's in a bit of a content drought. My main job right now is Dark Knight and sub is Ninja.

• What other communities are you a part of? Clubs at school, other forums?

At school I'm in a tabletop RPG club - right now we're playing Dungeon World and looking to do some Pathfinder eventually. I also do Laptop Ensemble, which is a music group that makes "music" out of code using programs like PureData and SonicPi.
I'm also a member of a Free Company (guild) on FFXIV called Vote Abandon - we're just having fun tbh. Nothing too serious. As far as forums go, this is really it lol.

Anyways, it's nice to be here and I'm looking forward to meeting people and getting better at the game!
