Hello,
I'm actually working for an eSports company called eSports HQ. I came here to learn more about the Smash community, tournament rules, and the game in general. Several of us are fans of Super Smash Brothers Melee, but have never done anything competitive with the game. We want to get more involved and eventually consider hosting events specifically for Super Smash Brother competitions.
Our biggest question right now is, what are the pros and cons of doing a tournament played on both Melee or Wii U version and allowing participants to pick which one they want to play on?
