Hello everyone.
I'm a beginner Melee player and I just wanted to slide into the community and hang around for a while. I'm currently unable to play Smash but I plan to start playing once I get back to Canada; I've played 1 other game at a competitive level which is Mario Kart Wii, I've never spent that amount of time on anything in my life before; I went by the name Jascol there, thought it was time for a change, and with that game now nearly dead due to the shut down of WFC, and I lack motivation to play Mario Kart 8, I decided to get serious about Smash.

I've always just played Mario Kart casually (doesn't imply that I'm a noob at the game ), but it's always interesting to hear people getting competitive with the game.

Hope you enjoy competitive Smash as much as did Mario Kart. Enjoy the forums!

Thanks for the message Hokori, though it'll take a very, very, very long time to reach the same amount of time spent on that game, including the times I left my Wii on overnight because I was too lazy to turn it on in the mornings, I would say it would be well over 10k hours. Then again, if I look at it another way, maybe I'll be able to get good at this game in half the time.
