Hello Smashboards. As you have probably guessed I am a big fan of the Smash Bros series, both on a casual and competitive level. I generally lean towards the heavier, harder hitting characters, like Ike. My favourite character in the entire series is Ike, I really like his KOing ability, and I really enjoy Ike's simple play style, differing from more combo heavy characters, Ike relies on a few heavy hits at a time, and then going for the smash, which I dig. I don't go to really big tournies, mostly due to where I live, and when I go to the smaller tourines I can go to, I mostly get average results, but I enjoy them nevertheless.

Outside of Smash, I enjoy a wide variety of games, with my favourite genre being RPGs, but I am generally fine with any genre. Some favourites of mine being(Outside of Smash), The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Xenoblade Chronicles, Ikaruga and Guilty Gear.

I hope I can get along well with everyone on the forum and discuss various, topics. Hopefully Smash related.

Well hopefully the netcode is good for the next smash game for you so you can find more people to play. You can always try the international community forums here and see if there are any folks playing in Ireland!

That fact that you like Ike, LoZ and Xenoblade Chronicles grants you 3 whole cool points (Sheesh, a lot of you newbies have been coming in and turning out to be cool enough to get points...I normally don't give them out so often :p).

But anyway...welcome to Smashboards!

I can understand how hard it is for Smashers outside the US for competitive play, but nice to know you're still having fun
