Hi! My name is Seth. I main ROB, but due to things looking grim about him in the new smash bros, I've been considering moving to Lucario. I plan on going into the competitive scene soon, I just need to find some tournaments going on in Kansas.

Hey Seth, welcome to Smashboards :)

Awesome that you are considering to main Lucario, he was definitely one of my favorites to play, and I'm sure it will be the same for Smash 4. If you are considering getting into the competitive scene, then you should definitely check out your Regional Zone and get in touch with the people in your area. It'll also be a great way for you to be able to practice and get better.
