Alright I can waveshine. It took me like 5 minutes...It'll take more to master, but anyway...Can you waveshine against everyone? And are there certain percentiles where you can't use it? Is it effective? And I can also do the shine and you wavedash, but you don't move u just go down, when is that effective?

And no, not everyone can be wave shined over and over some characters either fall from the shine or just slide too far away...

There's a list.. somewhere, look for it.

Check the shine stickied in this forum. Also you may need to walk a little before the stuns dissapears to connect with another waveshine on some characters.

These are the main people who you could waveshine against.
Easiest : Link, Peach, Zelda
A lil Harder : Captain Falcon, Sheik, Bowser, Donkey Kong
Harder : Ganondorf, Samus, Mario, Doc Mario

I have prob got some in the wrong order and missed a few out because its off the top off my head so sorry if i have but i defintely know you can waveshine all of them in practice mode.
MAKE SUREEE when your waveshining though you don't let go of the stick you just tilt it forward which allows you to walk a little bit otherwise waveshining with people who slide futher won't work properly, and tilt it enough so you get the full effect of the waveshine but if you start off with people like CF and Sheik you should get the tilting of the waveshine easier as you would have to use it unlike with Link you don't have to tilt it. WALKING IS IMPORTANT BASICALLY lol
And no there isnt a percentage where you cant waveshine the waveshinables as the shine makes people slide the exact same distant even at 999%

you can't continuously waveshine Mario/Doc. You need to use drillshines or you won't reach them.

You know his down-aerial. The spinning drillkick? You do that attack, then l-cancel it into a shine, WD then dash and drillkick again and repeat.

Drill -> Shine -> Run a bit -> JC Grab -> U-Throw -> U-air -> U-air -> U-air.

Master it and Marth is at your feet.

waveshine > dash attack > utilt > uair(s)

is also a reeally good combo to start at like 20-30% on Marth and Peach.

if continuous drillshine is too hard, just waveshine to grab. or if they fall down, thunders' combo.

But thunders combo is probably harder than drillshine.

uh. the nair shine can be CCed by any competent peach, samus, ICs, luigi...

Try nair shining a pro Peach, see what happens. UmbreonMow posted about this in one of the threads here. The dsmashes of the charactes i mentioned will beat your shine if they CC the nair.

Also, "drillshine sucks" doesn't make much sense coming from you, seeing as your entire peach game in your combo vid was drills...drills that only hit because the peach kept trying to grab after your drill. >_>

I wish I have recorded yesterday... Then you'll know what I'm talking about when I said drillshine sux. I played a pretty good peach yesterday

my waveshining is alot better btw now rayne..and also.. rayne is right about the nair shien combo..but i know for a fact against a really good marth(kirbstir) Vist nair shine comboed him like 3-4 times into some other junk and it was amazing.

Yep, I know that. Thats why I didn't mention him in my list of characters that CAN'T be nair combo'ed. Of course its useful, just not in certain situations. It can completely work against you sometimes.
