I'm Kasran! Kas is fine too. Recently I've been super into Smash, so I figured I'd register on here and drop a line. I've already posted a handful of comments on a couple of news posts, but consider this my formal introduction.
I've played Brawl, Project M, both versions of Sm4sh, and a little Melee, and I've enjoyed them all. (Yeah, even Brawl, if for no other reason than Subspace Emissary.) I'd probably enjoy Smash 64 if I tried it. Hell, I've even tried SSF2. Currently I'm a filthy casual at all of them, but I'm interested in practicing and improving, especially with PM and Wii U Sm4sh.
Other than that, I'm into puns, video game programming, music, writing, math, computer art, glitches, corruptions, TAS (watching, not making), and a whole bunch of other stuff. I'm studying computer science in college with the hope that I'll go into game development (or, at least, the development of systems and technologies that can be applied to games - like AI and such).
The Smash games fascinate me from a game-dev perspective, and I'm interested in seeing what else can be done in its specific genre of fighter - I call them "Smash-likes" and the only non-SSB ones I can think of are Super Smash Flash and the upcoming Rivals of Aether.
Also, Typhlosions are my favorite Pokémon.
So yes, that's me! I'm looking forward to meeting neat people and having fun discussions about Smash and whatever else.
