Hello Smashers!

Hi there the name is Jakario or Jigbigs and I am a new smasher on the boards.

I have played Smash Bros. since I was little but only recently have I decided that I want to play it at a far more advanced level. I was attracted to the forums when I was told this was a good place to learn more about the games and some strategies to use. This is the first smash forum I have been a part of.

I would like to play in tournaments but am a bit shy since I am younger than most smashers in my community. I reside in Norcal so I need to drive around if I want to go to the bigger tournaments in the area. My wii is also out of commission so I am saving up for another so I can start training again (or wait for smash bros 3ds)

Brawl: Captain Falcon
Project M: DK/Falcon
SSB4: Have not had the chance to play it yet! (Waiting for the full roster)

I look forward to discussing 'pro-strats and the latest tournaments with you all and if some of you are nearby, even playing some smash bros!

I'd recommend all of these links to you as a Smasher looking to advance:

Regional Zones (Nice place to start to look around for your local Smashers)
Tournament Listings (Whenever you feel comfortable enough, check out this forum to see what tournaments you'd like to attend. The Smash community is very accepting regardless of age, so hopefully you'll overcome that hump!)
Guide to playing Smash Competitively - I'd recommend that you follow along with this guide as you get more into practicing. It will really help you with understand the ins and outs of Smash Bros. in general)
