Smash Apprentice
Hello, Smashboards! My (user)name is DPKdebator, and after about 8 months of browsing Smashboards, I finally decided to make an account.
In terms of Smash games, I have both versions of Super Smash Bros. 4, Brawl (which I only have for PM ), and Project M. I'm not sure what proportion of users here have never played Melee, but I fall into that category, since I don't see the point in spending seventy dollars for a game that I can easily get for thirty. In all Smash games, my main is Mario (although if I was to ever get Melee, I'd go with Doc), because I like his play style and just the character in general. In comparing myself to other players via YouTube, I've seen my play-style isn't too different from other Marios, but I tend to use more fireballs and try to gimp more often. My skills with Smash improved greatly over last summer, since I logged 60 hours in July of 2015 and around 120-140 hours in August on my Wii U. I didn't have Project M until the end of February, but the majority of my current Smash time is spent on PM now. My controller of choice is a black Smash 4 GameCube controller, which relegates me to Dolphin for PM since (as you most likely know) the GameCube adapter doesn't work with anything besides Smash 4.
For now, I'm a Smashboards newbie, but I use my computer a lot, so I'll be pretty active on Smashboards (and hopefully graduate from the newbie label). Hope to see you around!
