Hello everyone ...long time lurker here seeking help on the subject of importing my own models.
I actually have 2 questions that I'm a little uncertain about and failed to find a proper guide or tutorial on.
1. Bones/helpers for my model? - Is it possible to import bones from an external model and edit them in brawl box? for example I have a model with more "limbs" that the one I hope to replace....Can I just add more bones in 3ds max and rig accordingly?
2. For Objects like Capes, What determines their independent movements?? When I open up a character like marth in brawl box his cape remains static for all animations however in game his cape is influenced by gravity and his muscular movement...I've realized eventually that his capes bones probably acted independently But I have no clue how to go about manipulating those bones for a future model, who in terms will be animated.
I have standard knowledge on brawl modding not a complete no0b, but I'm currently working on an ambitious project/mod with a little more to offer the casual...& maybe even the competitive community than the average retexture, or PSA swap and some things I realized weren't really explained anywhere but don't seem impossible to manipulate.
