Hello, I've just recently started playing ssb4 with my friends but currently I have been playing a lot more project m.
don't really know what else to say so I'll answer the questions suggested in the new to boards post.
  • Who do you main in your Smash game(s) of choice? Why?
  • Why have you joined Smashboards? How did you hear about the site?
  • Do you attend tournaments? Do you want to?
  • Talk about your interests outside of Smash Bros.! Anime, sports, other games, etc.
  • What other communities are you a part of? Clubs at school, other forums?
1. Im SSB4 I probably main marth or jiggly puff. Marth because I want to get used to spacing. and Jigglypuff because of the sweet sweet rests! In Project M however, I play more Luigi/Mario and Snake. Luigi and Mario to practice my tech with, and as well as being really well rounded and solid characters. I play Snake also because of the semtex sticks and overall setting up for kills.

2. I joined this site in hopes of finding more people in my local area (Markham, ON, CAN :D ) to meet at smashfests and tourneys, or just local hostings of any sort!

3. I have never attended a tournament, I do want to attend project M and SSB4 tourneys, but I don't think I'll be able to do well due to my inferior lack of tech skill, haha :p.

4.I code a bit on the side, and game pretty often. I like to play a lot of other fighting games like KoF, MvC2 and a bit of 3, and SF series, 3rd strike being my most favourite. I also like Game of Thrones, and watch some anime. I like music of all sorts!

5. Not really a part of any other community, I'm on Chatango from time to time to talk to friends.

On a last note, It's nice to meet you all, and I hope to befriend you guys!

Feel free to stop by the Canada sub-forum since you're interested in getting involve with your local scene. Also consider looking into joining a Facebook group (Smash related of course) since that's the most effective way to keep up with communities nowadays.

Other than that, best wishes to you and I hope you enjoy your stay here with us :)
