Smash Rookie
Well, my name is Genki and I am new to the smash scene. I played 64 when I was a kid and brawl very briefly with friends in high school. I recently (september) got into sm4sh and was exposed to the meta game and fell in love completely. I have been training a lot since then and recently discovered a new monthly in my area called S.O.S. (southern Ohio smash) and my training partner and I are super excited for our first tournament and have upped or training regiment. I am just excited to be a part of such a seemingly awesome community and can't wait to ask a million questions and even some day be able to start answering some as well, haha.
I was a hardcore WoW player since vanilla launched and saw naxx40 as well as being a class leader in a U.S. progression guild until the end of WotLK. I plaued DnD and MTGin middle school and high school. Love rpgs like KOTOR and Neverwinter Nights. I've dabbled in mortal combat x and mvc3, including tournament play but they never grabbed my imagination like smash has.
I look forward to becoming a positive member of the community and hope to meet fellow smashers in the southern ohio area.
