Hey Smash Boards!
I've been playing smash for years (not consistently). From N64 to the Wii I've always been a massive fan boy of the franchise. Though unfortunately its easily been 4 years since I've lasted touched a smash game. Mostly because I began to divert away from console gaming and began to focus almost entirely on PC gaming. But about 2 years ago I inadvertently quit PC gaming simply because I just became sick of it and didn't have the time anymore. After quitting a long 7 year run with World Of Warcraft and belonging to a top international #100 guild, I was just so burnt out on everything. I had pretty much lost all interest in video games.
Though I made the glorious accidental discovery while I was browsing youtube and watched a melee tournament. Ever since then I've been insanely hooked. The nostalgia and pure excitement to become good at smash has had me hyped for about a month now. I almost cringe at the thought of how I used to play compared to the pros that were at their peaks around 2006-2008. To think I even had the audacity to consider myself good at one point is almost shameful. But I always had friends who could never really grasp the game too well so I was a bit delusional to think I was so good playing such low skilled people.
Anyways besides the lengthy back story, I'm Dan. I've played mostly Fox. And I make music for a living. Cheers!
