Just wanted to let everyone know I have recently joined. And that I'm looking for friends to fight with on Smash Bros. Wii U. And maybe, go to a tournament. Not sure if I'm any good. Hope to hear back from all of you!

I would play, but man am I garbage with the Wii U Gamepad, and I can't afford a remote . Still, plenty of other folks would be willing to play so.

That's cool. All I did with the Wii U Gamepad is switch of the controls so it mimics slightly the set up of the Gamecube controller. After that, you can't tell if I'm playing with the controller or gamepad.

You can find others to play in this thread here, which is within the Online Discussion part of the forums. A few clicks will take you to other areas of the boards that focus on Smash 4, which can very much help you get better. You can join online tournaments as too.

Welcome! I'd play with you in either version (if you only have Wii U, that's fine). I for one use the Pro Controller. GamePad seems uncomfortable and I don't want to live in 2001 by going back to the GCN controller. That's a funny remark. I hope you enjoy the site.
