Let's see...where do i start...
I joined smash boards primarily for knowing tourney sites. I live in a country bumpkin of a town, so it's a little difficult to get involved in competitive play when everything is so far.
Tournament wise, I only have participated in the smash 4 tourneys that are sponsored by my school and i help host them ( SUNY New Paltz). In terms of big tournaments, I will attend SmashCon in August.
I've grown to a liking to kirby since melee first came out. Mostly because i was obsessed with the kirby games, but then again i was obsessed with pokemon. But yeah. However, since smash 4 came out, I've decided to start playing competitively. I usually only use kirby for friendlies, but I think I know kirby the best in terms of mechanics. I use sheik as my secondary and sonic as my primary. I've grown to a liking to both these characters.
Even though I play smash 4 competitively, I prefer to watch and had always watched melee streams because the hype is so real.
I am a part of the newly founded SUNY New Paltz Smash Club. We host tournaments for Smash 4 and Melee. So if you have any questions and would like to participate, feel free to message me!
