My name is Mark (or my smash alias, Markky) and I am relatively new to the competitive Smash scene, but I have been looking to get a foothold on it for a while now (at least, when Sm4sh was released)

Wii U Smash has been my go-to game. I have been familiar with all of the previous entries, as well as Project M, but once the cast of characters was shown off leading up to Sm4sh, I was eager to jump in and see all the different characters be used to their full potential.

I have been a major Sonic fan since the beginning (ups and downs and all), and have thus made Sonic my main in Smash. My techniques are rusty, but I'm looking to hone them over time. I'm settled in the SoCal area (was in San Diego, now in a small town called Glendora) and am hoping to use this site, in conjunction with Facebook and Twitter and whatnot, to get connected to the scene down here and start making a name.

I've heard people throughout the few locals I've been to mention SmashBoards, and after looking through the forums, am very excited to use this as a hub for everything Smash Bros. related.
