Hi guys, my name is Raphael, my current gamertag is Nito, I'm 18 years old and I'm from Austria/Europe. I never concidered myself a competitive Smash player but I loved watching smash tournaments like Evo and Apex even though I didn't really play Brawl nor Melee.
Now with Smash 4 I'll try to get at least a little bit into the competitive scene, therefore I came to Smashboards. Right now I would call myself an average smasher. My win rate in For Glory is almost 60% which I'd consider pretty good since this is the first smash game I play somewhat regularly. I know that For Glory isn't a real option for having real competitive matches since the matchmaking isn't that great and lag ruins at least one third of the games.
So I'll give this a shot and try to find other smashers who have a similar amount of experience as me. I think I know most of the basics and I know what kind of things my main Mario can do. However, when it comes to punishing habits or unsafe moves I don't have enough experience to know how and when to do that. Most people say I just need to play a lot and I will improve after some time, so here I am, trying to find a possible smash partner.
Language barrier shouldn't be a real problem I think. I live in Austria and german is my native language but I also have relatives in America so my english is above average and I can have normal conversations with no real problems.
My NNID is CallMeNito and my skype is depths_of_evil (I know, I know, the name is stupid as nuts...I was young and a 13 years old teenager who thought it would sound cool). If you are interested in playing with me just send me a friend request or a message. I'm usually online from 16:00 - 21:00 Central European Time(CET) which is 9:00 - 14:00 Central Standard Time(CST). During weekends I'm attainable pretty much at all time unless I'm out with my friends.
So yeah... I never did something like this, searching for a gaming partner lol The problem is I don't have a car and the local smash scene is very small and I would need to drive at least one hour to get to people who want to play and I just can't afford doing that since I still have school n stuff.
