Hey guys, I'm Josh, and thought I'd just make a quick intro thread, and since I'm lazy, I'm going to follow the format

.- Who do you main in your Smash game(s) of choice? Why?
I almost exclusively play Smash 4. I main Fox (pre and post nerf), Falco, and my secondaries are Sheik (sorry), Mario, and I'm slowly learning Diddy. I like playing Fox because his neutral is really fun, and I just like stringing his combos together; I just wish they'd buff his voice
. As for Falco, I picked him up after the removal of Fox's jab cancel, and he just clicked. His combos, his style, his ability to play defensively, and I really enjoy maining a low tier character as well. I'm not going to get into my secondaries at the moment because I don't want my intro to be a novel .
- Why have you joined Smashboards? How did you hear about the site?
I joined Smashboards some time ago, but never made an introduction thread. I've always really liked Smash, but only started getting super into it recently, and it just replaced League of Legends as my main competitive game about a month ago. I came here to discuss topics I'm interested in, as well as be with people who share my love for Smash. I heard about this site through looking up guides ages ago.
- Do you attend tournaments? Do you want to?
I've attended two singles tournaments and one doubles tournament so far, but all of these were when I wasn't super into competitive smash. I did kind of bad in the first tournament, but reasonably well in the following two. I'm definitely interested in going to more local tournaments because I think now that I've really honed my skills I could place really well.
- Talk about your interests outside of Smash Bros.! Anime, sports, other games, etc.
I like watching anime, hanging out with friends, I enjoy competitive Pokemon to an extent, I do Photoshop art, mostly small art, or tags. I don't know the rules on links here, but feel free to check out my portfolio. - What other communities are you a part of? Clubs at school, other forums?
I'm a frequent Reddit browser and I reside on a few forums dedicated to graphic design. I used to be a part of the League of Legends community for about 5 years but I really dislike the direction the game has shifted towards, so I decided to stop playing it as my main game, and replace it with Smash, which I've been enjoying far more.
Looking forward to my time here.
