Hello everyone

[Talazar]

The names Talazar, 22 years old and have been playing Smash Bros. since 64. For the longest time I've never thought that this series was played in a competitive level. After the release of Brawl and the amount of "negativity" it received did I realized about the competitive smash community. You can say that it really opened my eyes and was really excited to see so many people as passionate about this series as much as me. I haven't really played melee a lot even after discovering the depth of it but with the introduction of Project M did I really start to put effort into playing the game in a deeper level.

• Who do you main in 64/Melee/Brawl/SSB4, why?

In 64 I usually played Captain Falcon and Samus (sometimes Jigglypuff just to annoy my friends ). Melee I suppose the characters I played the most are Shiek, Captain Falcon and sometimes Roy (Roy's our boy!). In Brawl my main is easily Pit, being a huge Kid Icarus fan he just plays naturally for me. Project M I'm really interested in playing as Mario, Pit, Mewtwo and Wolf. Finally, I'm looking forward to playing as Greninja, Palutena, Little Mac and Rosalina & Luma in SSB4.

• Why have you joined Smashboards?

I really want to be part of this community and to attend tournaments to better myself. This is one of the few games were I really want to be amazing at.

• Do you attend tournaments? Do you want to?

My first tournament was a Brawl tournament but do to the first 2 rounds having 4 player free-for-all it felt really unfair (sorry for the Johns). I won the first round but lost the second but at least the round ended with a epic battle with me and a Mario player. Anyways I would love to attend more tournaments (preferably Project M tournaments) but I don't know where to find any in the Western Michigan area

• Talk about your interests outside of Smash Bros.!

Quite simply I'm a gamer whether Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo or PC if a game is fun to me I'll be playing it. I'm also a bit of a collector (figurines, some cards etc.)

• What other communities are you a part of?

Let's just say it involves a T.V show with miniature equines and let's leave it at that

S/o to you for being a fellow KI fan! I'm really excited to use Palutena in the upcoming Smash games myself. My heart lies in the Fire Emblem series, so my mains are always FE characters (excluding 64 for obvious reasons).
