Hello my name is Elliot and I play Shiek/Dr. Mario in melee and I'm also working on Falco and Ganondorf. I'm from the NW (Seattle) and I've been to one local. I think Silent Wolf won. I practice a lot of tech alone and that's why I have a few characters to make practice less repetitive. I plan on getting a car soon and when I do I plan on going to more locals, to work on pvp rather than just tech practice and comboing a Fox that can't DI. I've always loved smash and got back into it a couple years ago when I played in my fraternity at the UW. About the same time I started watching twitch and YouTube videos and realized there was this huge competitive aspect. And I would've tried the UW melee group if had known about it! It's also nice to see that this game is growing in popularity the last few years by a lot and it will never go away, so I will have plenty of time to practice. It sucks being goof at games that pump out sequels every year. I digress l though, hello everybody, hopefully you might see me in the future.
