Hello everybody!

Hello everybody, I'm Chappy. I just recently came over here and I have been lurking around a bit, reading many of the threads and I found myself interested in a fair portion of the discussion going on here.

To let you know a little about myself, I came here from the Playstation All-Stars community. I have been playing competitively since December (I mained Sir Dan) and while I did have a good time playing the game and making many new friends, I decided to leave the competitive scene of the game due to the small community that is shrinking even more as we speak, and the less than stellar balance patch that came out recently.

Anyways, I plan to continue lurking around here, so don't plan on seeing much discussion from me. I'm going to learn as much about Smash as I can before Smash 4 comes out, so I'm ready to go by then. I plan on maining Link, and if you haven't guessed already, I do plan on playing competitively.

Other games I enjoy playing besides All-Stars and Smash include Zelda, Mario, Xenoblade Chronicles, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Last of Us, Bioshock, LBP, Fire Emblem, and Donkey Kong Country.

Maybe you'll come out of lurking again once the game is released? Wether you do or not, hope you enjoy the game, competition, and the Smash community in general

@ Hokori Thanks for the welcome! I mainly plan on lurking around and asking questions as well as adding to the discussion going on here when I can. I'm simply learning now, Link specifically, since he seems similar to Sir Dan, my main in All-Stars. When Smash 4 actually comes out, you'll hear more from me.

Sounds good. Many users start off like that, nice to know you'll be more involved upon release though. Well, to aid in your venture for Smash knowledge, I'd recommend giving the beginner's guide to competitive Smash a read alongside looking at Link specifics in the forums. I'll link you to the guide if you haven't already seen it from browsing.

Thanks, I appreciate the help. I've already taken a look at some of the guides in the Link section, but I'll be back later. I'll definitely take a look at that beginner's guide.
