Welcome to Smashboards! Yes, it's just as good as the original controllers. You shouldn't have any problems with it. I heard the controller is made of cheaper materials though.

Hiya, pleasure to have you join! Hopefully you enjoy your time here, and yes the gamecube controllers and the sm4sh gamecube controllers feel near identical to me. I actually perfer the sm4sh one.

By the way Lucina is super OP. Would love to do some dittos sometime if you'd like~
