Hey everyone. If this has been posted before, my apologies. I am wondering what you experience has been in terms of HDMI cables and input lag. Online or offline, doesn't matter. I hear so much hype one direction or the other that certain HDMI cables can make a difference why many others say it is irrelevant. I know with smash, any reduction in lag is a good thing, so curious if the Wii-U HDMI cable is pretty solid in terms of input delay, or if some of you have purchased a different HDMI cable and have seen a noticeable difference. I look forward to your responses. :)

I believe that HDMI more or less depends on the Monitor or TV in this case. Due to how many ms the Monitor or TV has because it's a digital input rather then analog.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that is how it works.

I was also under that assumption, but I'm not 100%. I think most will work the same, unless there's a glaring problem.

It depends more on the display you're using than the HDMI cable.

The number one rule of any "Smart TV" - HD or otherwise - is to always, always, always turn off all the post-processing effects meant to improve the picture or sound quality.

Those things are notorious for introducing frame lag.
