having trouble with new adapter

i recently got an adapter off ebay (mayflash, 2 ports, like the one in the first post of this thread). ive tried using it with a few different plugins and none have seemed to work quite right. jabo's controller plugin works fine except when i'm assigning my keys it wont recognize the c buttons.

i've tried two different versions of the nrage plugin (v2 1.83 and whatever version came with pj64k v0.13), and both of them have the same problem. when im playing online, if i am 1st player, my controller works fine but nobody else in the game can do anything, and if i'm 2nd, 3rd, or 4th player, everyone else is fine but i can't do anything.

i googled this problem and other people online have had it too but i havent found a solution.

any help would be appreciated.

uncheck the raw data box on one of the tabs on the nrage plugin configuration
