having some trouble against wolf

i have a friend who plays wolf, neither of us are too pro but just for fun. his strategy against my luigi is hes sort of campy. he like to shoot(his projectile slightly better than luigi, more range). he likes to shield and dodge a lot and doesnt get in the air too much. he likes to dodge and force me to approach him his main attacks are forward smash (which reaches far and hits twice, hard to avoid, id like some pointers). and his down smash hits both sides and is pretty powerful, makes it hard for me to roll under him to get close. just any suggestions ideas would be nice. i know there was already a post about wolf, but this one is a little more specific and the other didnt get many replies. thanks!

edit: approaching is tough because its predictable if i come front, his fsmash is tough or he will roll away, then fsmash. rolling in gets caught by fsmash or usually dsmash. jumping in, over beams or away from his smash attacks is too predictable, he can roll away and fsmash. Just having trouble with the camp and my predictability, looking for some nice approaches or mindgame ideas.

why dont you try air dodge, just jump towards him, air doddge. if he tries to do his dsmash then sidestep because rolling will just get you hit anyway. i think his lasers neutralize your down b , if not you can make an approach with that because it's really fast.

tornado or a simple charge is enough to throw off most campers surprisingly. I used to main Wolf and my friend is Pro luigi and sometimes he throws me off with a simple walk and a few sidestep dodges, then spam down c-stick for that brutal down kick of yours.
