Have you noticed CPUs change playstyles as time goes on?

In Brawl and Smash 4, CPUs could change their playstyle gradually over time - just turn on a new save of the game on a different console versus a long-used save on a different console, and they'll play very differently. I think the same thing is true in Ultimate to some degree. Has anyone else noticed this? I've been poking around with this in the competitive CPU and amiibo scenes, and did a small experiment on it but haven't had promising results. It's obvious that they do change (again, just look at how they play with two different Switches' save data) but I'm not sure how.

What's been your opinion on this so far?

It's probably you changing so the AI adapts differently.
This is more convincing to me than what was originally proposed. The character you play could also make a difference due to adapting mid-battle.

I do a lot of level 9 32-CPU-only tournaments (probably have done close to around 30 of them total) and I find they always stay pretty consistent.

If the A.I. can change or vary from console to console I'd be curious to see proof of this but so far I'm not convinced of the idea.
