Has brawlEx been scrapped for the future of Project: M?

I heard this from someone... according to him, the guys working on BrawlEx have given up on making it work for P:M 3.5/3.6. Is this true, or is he mistaken?

I would be very sad if its true :(

It's still possible to make, but there hasn't been much work on it as of late... I can pick it up, though, since there was a roadblock and I know how to fix it. Current issues are: characters crashing, outdated airdodge code, and other stuff.

Ah I see! Well if you were to pick it back up and get it working that'd be super awesome. I'm aiming to make one of my mods a clone engine character if possible.

Also, do you know if whatever you do to make it compatible with 3.5 will be (at least partly) compatible with the future releases? Or you think there will be a whole new set of issues that would mean starting all over again?

I know this may not be something you can answer for certain, but just in case :p

Thanks for getting back to me on this!
