Has anyones online connection suddenly went to crap?

I had played maybe over a hundred matches with friends online virtually lagless. Maybe a small problem here or there but nothing that lasted more than a fee seconds. Now I can't play with the friend who I mainly play with it has gotten so bad. Both of our connections apparently show red and haven't recovered. Another friend of mine also has an incredibly bad connection all of a sudden to. We are all posting good ping and shouldn't be having issues. Anybody else experience a smooth connection that just all of a sudden went to crap? What did you do to fix it? I wouldn't think anything of it if we had always had bad connections but since it was good then got terrible I am left wondering.

How long has this been going on for you? I've been having a very similar problem since last night, and other people I know are also having this problem. If we're both experiencing the same issue, it's probably something with Nintendo's servers. Other than that, all I can think of is to make sure nothing in your house is eating up the internet. Even something like having a video running and nothing else can worsen your connection dramatically, so just make sure you're using up as little internet as possible.

It started about two days ago just randomly. My friend and I had a great set of matches with a little lag on the last. Then I tried playing with someone else and it was unplayable. Tried going back and playing with the other friend as a test and it was the same. All three of our connections had suddenly gone to junk. Only one person on my friends list is even showing green. The rest are a combination of yellow and orange. Except for one guy who is posting green. In two days it went from exceeding every expectation of mine to absolutely abysmal. I have tried everything. I have opened ports, shut off anything using bandwidth, power cleaned, and etc. It just seems to still stay crappy. So I agree it is probably Nintendo but it sucks that it was so good and then so so bad.

It most likely is a server thing, but there are things like microwaves that can affect your transmission I believe. So if you're near a microwave or something like that, that might help alleviate your issue. I think there was something about cordless phones that can also really mess up WiFi. But that's all I can think of, sorry
