I was just on the Japanese site, (Don't ask why, I don't even know why) and i noticed, brawl got delayed too, 2008, 01, 31. thats not that big of a delay, compared too March 9th. Maybe the American version is getting some America, only features! Anyway here are some other cats that I found that you people probably, or should already know.

it costs in Japan 6800yen, which I don't know how to convert, so someone else will have to do it.

I noticed that to, I was telling my friend that on the phone not to long ago. But I don't think It's for American only content, maybe something to do with shipping dates.

We aren't going to get any new content.

The time being taken is for disc production and anything they haven't already done with respect to translation. The japanese launch has a disc shortage - less than galaxy had for japan. This is because they aren't delaying it further for japan, only 1 week.

Yea the game already went gold in japan before the delay was announced so if it's anything it's just localization issues. Probably it's just a marketing decision to get casual gamers excited about the release.
