Has Anyone else noticed that the Mii's have special hats? Are these the same hats from Streetpass?

On a side note, Custom outfits also appear to be a thing.

Yeah the hats look exactly like the ones at Mii Plaza.

I wonder if this means that we can import the hats we unlocked at that mode or if they are alternate costumes/unlockable in the game itself. (similar to Villager)

they already said that you can customize your mii's costume in the reveal trailer

Apparently we can send mii data from 3ds to wii u, so that may be an option to transfer hats
