Hard Counter Gaming is a new FGC hoping to provide an excellent service in all Smash Bros events! Our current focus is to bring Smash 4 Singles and Doubles tournaments to you on a bi-weekly basis with the hope of expanding to Melee if the demand meets it. Our goal is to grow with the community and help be able to provide an increasingly capable hub for all members of the Smash community in Akron and the surrounding areas.
We are currently located at Hook Cycle in Akron, OH, about 5-10 minutes away from Chapel Hill Mall. Venue fee is $10 to enter, with a $2 dollar reduction on your fee if you pre-register before the event. We are also allowing a flat $5 reduction to the venue fee for the first three people to sign-up and confirm a full set-up for the event (monitor, console, game, and DLC). These offers do not stack. Your $10 entry will get you food during your time at our venue and will help to further evolve our business to help us bring you a better experience in the future!
Entry for Singles will cost you a $10 entry and Doubles is $10 per person, for a total of a $20 entry per team. Registration for Singles will start at 1:00 PM and the tournament will start promptly at 3:00 PM. Doubles will be based off of gauged interest of the attendees for singles.
If you would like to pre-register, you can do so at this link. Again, pre-registration will currently knock $5 off your entry fee. There will, however, be changes to this structure in the near future.
