This is just me personally, I like to put a lot of my stress on my arm, rather then my wrist when I play. So when I do Shine out of Shield, or Dashing shines, or things that require fast hand movements, I use my arm, rather then my wrist to preform the actions. So how that looks is instead of flicking my wrist, I keep my wrist straight (or still, which ever is more convenient for my position), and use the muscles on my arm (the few that I have xD) to move my hands. I don't know if players do this as well, but when I see top players, or my friends play Fox, I notice them using their wrist a lot to preform actions; and then they later complain about the pain involving in their wrist.

The only type of pain I have ever experienced in my hands, was on my left thumb. This happened because around that time I started getting into Shielding dropping a lot, and my thumb wasn't used to it, so after some time it became sore. So what I did for that, was I stretched my hands, and massaged my thumb everyday.

I've found the most important things are to keep good posture while playing and to keep a loose grip on the controller. I've experienced a bit of pain in the past, but after keeping these things in check it's never bothered me again even though I use a claw grip and people say that's bad. I'll link a video of a Tafo talk with a doctor:
