Hammer Time - Hammer % for Each Character

Ok, so I didn't see any of this anywhere else on the BJ boards so I went ahead and found out the % ranges for Bowser Jr to use KoopaKart into Abandon Ship, into hammer; probably his best kill option. Now I want you all to know that these are ranges the attack will land, some of the ranges can be air dodged before the hammer connects and some of them will not kill. These are usually the lower to higher percents. You can also hit a higher percents listed, but you have to stall a bit before you swing, and you can be hit out of that.

In this guide I will use % and J% (J% being a jump out of KoopaKart and then Abandon ship to hammer, and % just being jump cancel abandon ship from KoopaKart)

Sorry l still don't understand.
If % means side B > JC > up B > hammer.

Then what does J% mean?
Abandon ship from the ground into hammer without using side B?

Anyways thanks alot for this thread and you forgot to mention the Miis BTW.

This seems like good information, but I do think you should edit your description on the %and J% to match your recent post.
J% = kart to hammer combo, and
% is just J-canceled abandon ship to hammer.

Also you might want to check Falco, Pac-man, and DHD 's percents

Those percentage gaps are far too drastic for the kart>hammer combo. The combo only works on most characters for about 8% maximum difference (in actuality it cuts down to like a 2-3% window which changes based on your rage and the freshness of the kart) and then it's predicated on an airdodge read or your opponent not knowing how to react, which you mentioned.

as for up b into hammer, it's almost always guaranteed if you read the timing and drift accordingly.
