If it is an item.... there must be something in the game based on halloween..... In none of the last 2 smash there were halloween items as far as i know.

It might be a food item or a simple projectile, but I don't think that it is anything special. Kind of like the eggs in Yoshi's Island. Perhaps there will be certain holiday Easter Eggs, like that pumpkin will appear more often, the crates and barrels will always be presents on Christmas, or maybe the eggs on Yoshi's Island will be Easter colored.
