I'm getting glitches in the Half Life 2 Game and in Episode one, I think it's my 5400RPM Hard Drive. Here are my specs.
CPU; AMD Athlon XP 1800+ 266Mhz FSB
RAM; 512MBx2 PC3200 DDR
Mobo; Biostar M7VIT Pro v1.1
Hard Drives; 2x 40GB ATA100 5400RPM HD's
GPU; Sapphire Radeon 9600 Atlantis 256MB AGP 8x
PSU; Premium 400Watt PSU
Note; the game takes about 3 minutes to load at startup, and the loading is excruciatingly long. Thanks. Please don't criticize my system, I'm 14 years old and I make 15.5 USD a week. Please criticize the Hard Drives if you think that's the problem, oh, and if it helps, I run the game on the same Hard Drive that Windows runs on (Windows XP Home SP2).
