Ok so last night me and my friends had a 4v5 crew battle. (because one of my friends couldn't make it so one of our guys had to go twice) So basically my friend went against he rivals puff and my friend is a Marth main but I don't know maybe because of the pressure he was scared and didn't think about picking him for spacing and he picked falco. Long story short my friend got four stocked by the puff and he kept spamming up-throw rest and my friend didn't DI even though he knows how to.

My friend who is a Captain Falcon main picked Ganondorf to go against the puff and he took 2 stocks but then the puff took him out. I go in next as ice climbers and taking all his stocks while he takes one of mine. Next up is their Marth which I really wasn't familiar with his play style he is a Marth that is very patient and takes control of center stage. I manage to take out one of his stocks with Sopo before going out, but I am currently playing with an sprained wrist which makes it extremely hard to wobble and even move my had for technical techniques with the ice climbers.

My friend who is a Shiek main and he basically got 3 stocked even though my friend started with 4 stocks. After that my friend who is and Captain Falcon main finally went Captain Falcon and he got four stocked as well. I think our problem that we wasn't expecting for them to let out with there puff which improved alot because my friend went against him months ago and said that he wasn't good and they always four stocked him. And than their Marth was, I cant explain it like a robot he kept doing the same things over and over. Ever single time I went to get up the ledge he would just throw me off no matter what. Every single time I was in the exact range of his sword he would hit me.My question is how to get better because I think our problem is pressure and dealing with threats because the Marth and Puff were the only good players tan the rest of the players just stared playing this year. And is there a way to practice with people like friendlies or anything on the east coast I know Netplay is an option but I wanted to know is their any venue in the Maryland-Baltimore are where we can play friendlies.

I fail to wrap my head around the significance of the lost crew battle in regards to the question of getting better, but whatever. Also, a little searching on your own would've lead you to this thread:

I doubt anybody will write up something more informative answer to the generic "how to get better"-question, in some random thread.

In regards to fingind people to play with, check the regional forums around here, or see whether there's a facebook group of your region (almost certainly there will be one)
