Okay, there's this bump in my gums, it doesn't hurt but it's reddish and some bleeding is going on near the edges of my teeth sometimes when I brush. I just noticed it today.

Are cysts dangerous?? How can I remove it? Can I keep it there...? HELP!!!

Do they get bigger? How do they come?

Where's it at in relation to your teeth?
You might just have crap stuck in between two teeth or something.

Happens to me sometimes. Especially with chicken. o_x

edit: lmfao, owned

As it is, I think you should talk to your dentist before asking the opinion of a bunch of video game idiots.

Maybe you ate too much ketchup. When I was a kid I ate ketchup with everything so sometimes I'd get a little bump or 2 on my gum.

Try laying off acidic stuff and see what happens, maybe brush your teeth more often so your mouth doesn't get a chance to go acidic.

It's cancer. It hasn't gone away--it's just broken up and entered your blood stream. You're at stage 3 now, with 2 months to live. At least you'll get to see the release of Brawl (probably).

Just kidding, of course. Cysts are just closed cavities in the body filled with air, a liquid, or a solid material. They are usually not at all painful or dangerous, and once removed, they do not recur, unless there is some underlying problem.

Oddly enough, they usually have to be removed. I guess you were lucky that it went away by itself.

I hope you have managed to come out on the other side of this whole ordeal a stronger person, Lesheik.

Well I'm not an expert on the subject, but I'm not sure how dangerous cysts can be. I have one in the back of my head, but they've never felt the need to remove it, saying that it's not harmful to me in anyway. However, like others have said, you should consult a trained professional on the subject first.
