Yes, it was on: On Tour Decades or On Tour. That is like, my favorite song. And I was really mad when it came out for a DS guitar hero because I don't own a DS

Do not post a list of songs you want. I will close the topic if it turns into that.

Hmm, I have heard of a grand total of 2 of those songs. Guess I'm getting old.

Neversoft, to be honest, is overexposing guitar hero waaay too much with subpar games. Guitar Hero 4 was a joke.

Nevertheless, I am looking forward to greatest hits since it will have Guitar Hero 2 songs on there. Here's hoping for Jorda, The Light That Blinds, and Six.

And last but not least, No Freebird.

Guitar Hero 4 was a joke.QUOTE]

Are you kidding? Guitar Hero World Tour added so much to the series. IMO, 3 was the real joke.

World Tour Added:
GHTunes
Full Band
MiiFreeStyle (Wii)
DLC (Wii)

GHIII Added:
Online
Stupid Boss Battles
That's about it...

Yes, 3 was a bigger joke, but guitar hero 4 was still a joke. A bit better joke, but not much.

It still has the same overcharted songs, horrible timing, **** graphics (and for this I'm mainly talking about the wii menus and other little things), the dlc has pitiful songs, and the career is laughable.

Compare it to Rock Band 2 with its intelligent modes and better charts.

i like ghwt better cause it's harder (the only real hard song on guitar on rb2 was panic attack) and i like some of the songs better.

i wonder if those gay *** purple notes are gonna be in greatist hits, those notes made some songs GAY to 100% on expert (i'm looking at you, the joker). oh ya they need the way it ends on greatist hits, the drummer on that song is TOO GOOD.

modern hits fail for having coldplay, atreyu, and fall out boy on it on the set list.

1. The notes aren't THAT overcharted. They are, but RB2 stil has some over-charted notes too. RB2 Extream Over Charting Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0L_es9bnsu8
2. The timing is the same as any guitar hero or rock band game. I see no differents other than the large hit boxes needed in order to play GHWT's harder songs.
3. You think GHWT has a bad-looking menu's on Wii? Ever played Rock Band for Wii? Nuff Said.
4. The DLC shares tons of songs with Rock band 2's. It has some pretty good songs like: No rain, low, negetive creep, hillbilly deluxe, drive, old time rock and roll, and life in the fast lane.
5. I favour Guitar Hero's Career over Rock Band's. It's set up better and played out better. (By played out I meen you can skip some stuff if you really need to)
6. Intelligent modes? RB2's character creator is trash compared to GHWT's. RB2 has no extra benefits for Wii or a Song Creator. Also Guitar Hero is much harder.
7. Last, RB's instruments are TRASH when compared to GH's. The drums are more difficult and less easy to break. They are compatable with RB and RB2. The guitar's frets aren't as loud and the tap strum and wah are.... there.

Last time before we just simply move on.

1. That solo isn't really overcharted, to be honest. Look at some tabs. Not only that, but several songs were revealed to be overcharted by the developers themselves. Such as Through the Fire and Flames. They admitted to adding bull crap to the end of certain sections just to make it harder.
Edit: Nice job linking to a video with a description talking about a whole other song entirely being overcharted.

2. No the hitboxes are much different between Gh and Rb, plus the larger timing makes the game way too easy, even on the harder songs. It's just them compensating for bad charts.

3. Yes, I agree that Rock Band 1 on the Wii had horrible graphics, but it fixed most of the problems with Rock Band 2. Readable text and no super-repeated animations make Werekill happy.

4. Give me a list of repeated songs on DLC for World Tour. Rock Band 2 also has a massive amount of good AND bad stuff. It all depends on musical preference though. In other words, Rock Band, with its mix of good and bad things, appeals to many more people. My neighbor may think song A is horrible while I love it. With its varied list of songs, it can appeal to many more people.

5. Yes, lets all play through a thinly disguised linear set list instead of playing an intelligent and varied World Tour mode on Rock Band 2.

6. Oh yesh, I would love to make extremely similar and ugly monkeys instead of using a realistic character creator that is actually rather deep. And lets also make some songs with a highly convulted interface for a music creator that sounds like they took horrible sound samples? Not only that, but let us also use Mii Freestyle, the only bonus mode for Wii, to make pitiful and improvised songs with the same crap sound samples?

7. Less well charted songs and horribly created drum sets do make a good drum game make. The guitar for Rock Band, I'll admit, is not a very good instrument and loses to Guitar hero, but the newest Rock Band 2 instrument comes VERY close.

Unless you wish to argue some more, can we go back to the point of the thread?
